Personalize

Overview

**Personalize** reads an archive of your own agent traces and proposes the concepts, rules and parsers that fit your work. Every proposal is reviewed by you before anything is created.

The sequence

Run these steps in order

  1. **Upload** a trace archive and register it.
  2. **Summarize** the archive into task summaries.
  3. **Create concepts** from the summaries, approving each one.
  4. **Discover parsers** that read the facts the rules need.
  5. **Create rules** from the approved concepts.

Upload an archive

Upload a gzip tar of traces, naming the agent family they came from. The archive is prompted for when omitted:

fencio personalize upload claude /path/to/traces.tar.gz --name "Q4 laptop"

List and inspect what you have uploaded:

fencio personalize archives list
fencio personalize archives show <archive_id>

Summaries

Generate or reuse the task summaries for an archive, then list or show them:

fencio personalize summaries create <archive_id> --name "Q4"
fencio personalize summaries list
fencio personalize summaries show <summary_id>

Pass --regenerate to build a new version even when one exists.

Concepts

Propose concepts from a summary set and create each one as you approve it:

fencio personalize concepts create

Parsers

Discover the parsers your rules need and store them in shadow until you promote them:

fencio personalize parsers create

Rules

Propose rules from the approved concepts and create each one as you approve it:

fencio personalize rules create
